Gemeindetag

Today was Gemeindetag in our church. Every time a month has 5 Sundays, we stay after the service on the the 5th Sunday to eat and fellowship together. Today the weather was beautiful so after we ate we all walked down to a nearby playground to let the kids play and enjoy the sunshine. Then we came back to the church for the traditional “Kaffee und Kuchen” (Coffee and Cake) and yet more fellowship.

Helping in the Garden

Last week Micah helped Papa in the garden. We enjoyed planting Zucchini and some American Yellow Squash together. After we planted everything, we watered it, and Micah found out how slippery mud can be!

Fun in the Zoo!

Last Saturday the weather here in Magdeburg was beautiful. So, we decided to invite “Beck-Beck” (Micah’s name for our good friend Rebecca) and head to the zoo with the boys. Micah had a blast. And Joel . . . well he had a great nap in the stroller.
